Esmée- E is a Fashion Designer based in The UK of Irish and Turkish heritage. Her first ancestors arrived in England  to work as dyers in the industrial town of Manchester, then called Cottonopolis. Her father came to London from Turkey.

She first became interested in  a career in fashion at the age of 4 whilst playing in her grandmothers fabric cupboard and watching her grandma and mother dressmaking.




Esmée's  formal  training was  at Central St.Martins BA Fashion specialising in Fashion with Print. 

After University  she worked for Kenzo in Paris, working  on knitwear, denim, print ,embroidery and accessories.



She then moved  onto Moschino in Milan working on jeans ,print, swimwear and lingerie



It was in Milan  she launched her own label  footwear brand with Italian partners. The collection  was distributed to Japan as well as stores in The UK, The US and Ireland for a period of 5 years.



Esmée then started  working independently travelling between Italy and India, working with artisans with a variety of international brands including Replay Jeans.


Post pandemic she had a break from the industry and Esmée  went back to school and worked at Central St. Martins as  Pathway Leader for Fashion Print and  Lead for Digital Fashion, embedding Virtual sampling  into the technology into the BA and MA courses.



Esmée's is  Resort and Lounge  Collection in created collaboration with  partners in Egypt and The World Sustainability Organisation in Milan.
